Under the leadership Mr. Jitendra Kotwal Nashik has become the 20th chapter of the Fire & Security Association of India (FSAI) courtesy a prestigious launch which was held in the city on 22nd April. M. V. Deshmukh President NAFO was Chief Guest and Vice chairman of National Building Code of India V. Suresh was chief speaker for the event, Special Guest were Mr. Anil Mahajan (CFO Nashik) Mr. S. S. Warick (Director MAITRI & CFO MIDC) Mr. Milind Ogale (Dy. CFO MIDC) along with various dignitaries gracing the occasion and sharing their valuable insights.

FSAI 1FSAI National President Mr. Pankaj Dharkar address 300 delegates present for event& briefed about FSAI Mission & Vision. The oath was given by him to the Joint Secretary Mr Jitendra Kotwal along with core working committee which includes, Sanjeev Jagtap, Deepak Dandgaonkar, Amit Parse, Anant Dixit, Vinay Barpande, Rishikesh Ahire, Harshad Bhamre, Anil Patil, Aniket Mahajan, Varun Tiwari, Manoj Kardile, Kiran Navle,Nitesh Shetty With the commissioning of the Nashik chapter of FSAI, hopes and expectations of the city, becoming a truly smart city- Suraksahit city have been rekindled and it remains to be seen how effectively city planners and architects utilize the benefits that FSAI has to offer.

The association is working for spreading awareness about fire and security. FSAI, a national-level association working on no-profit, no loss basis, works in association with government for disaster management, life security and property protection. Various leading companies, engineers, architects and businessmen, working in the field of fire and security enrolled their membership, making its launching at Nashik a great success. There are many as 4000 members of the association across India.

ajinkya fire fiNewly elected joint secretary of Nashik chapter Jitendra Kotwal informed that there are more than 100 members in the Nashik chapter and that very soon a student chapter will also be introduced in Nashik. FSAI Nashik chapter will be arranging seminars on Fire & Security awareness in Nashik
