AAAG Proud Recipient of ‘Indian OEM of the Year’ Award at FIST 2019

At this year’s FSAI premier event, FSIE (Fire & Security India Expo) 2019 at Mumbai, AAAG (Shah Bhogilal Jethalal & Bros) won big in the FIST awards ceremony, bagging the prestigious ‘Original Equipment Manufacturer of the Year’ award. AAAG CEO Mukesh Shah, and partners Rajesh Shah and (representing the next generation of AAAG family) young Kunj Shah, received the award on AAAG’s behalf.

Shah Bhogilal Jethalal & Bros (AAAG) is a pioneering company in the field of fire protection equipment in the country, producing a diverse range of water and foam based fittings and equipment, for portable, mobile and fixed applications. Late Shri Bhogilal Jethalal Shah founded the Shah Bhogilal Jethalal Iron & Brass Factory at Ahmedabad in 1933, to manufacture brass valves for the textile industry. By the end of that decade, (and due to the decline in the textile industry) he began manufacturing Bronze landing valves, hose couplings and nozzles for the market (which included a supply of Hose couplings to the British army during the 2nd World War!). They gained recognition as a quality producer of fire fighting equipment, and on client demand, successive generations of the family continued to add different fire fighting equipment to their product range. Today, the company produces a wide range of products from its modern, 125,000 sq. feet manufacturing facility in Ahmedabad. AAAG clientele is a veritable who’s who of the Indian Industry, and covers every major sector of commerce and industry, and exports include countries such as the USA, UK, Italy, Singapore and the Middle East.

AAAG is certified to ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System, and its products’ quality meets various national and international standards, endorsed by reputed certification agencies like Bureau Of Indian Standards (BIS), Underwriters Laboratories (UL), Factory Mutual (FM), Engineers India Limited, DGQA, Ministry of Defence, Indian Registrar of Shipping, etc. Quality and reliability are the hallmark of their products – there are instances where equipment such as landing valves are in service for over 30 years in very demanding industrial conditions!! Many of their products such as firefighting nozzles, monitors, riser equipment are found in almost all locations and market sectors in the country, right from large oil companies to small companies, malls and commercial buildings.

AAAG continues to build on its strengths; adding more useful products for the fire protection market, and at the same time, ensuring and further improving the quality of its products, with the sole objective of strengthening the hands of the firefighter.
