AN IDEAL EXPO FOR FORCE MULTIPLIERS

ITPO LogoHome  land  security is  increasingly  perceived as  being  critical  to  the  overall security  of  the  country.   It can’t be over looked especially when the entire world is facing challenges due to growing in terrorism. Security is one of the most important issues in any setting, a bank, home, school, hospital, mall, social gathering, et al.

Featuring  different  aspects   of  security  and  safety  sectors,  the 18th edition of India International Security Expo2015 was an  imperative   for  the  industry to  carry  forward the ‘Make in India’ campaign, launched by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India.  This   event aims to strengthen the home land security scenario in India which requires Government’s active management of the policy frame work, regulations, process and fiscal environment to create and integrated and self-reliant home security operators in the country.  The event was organised by India   Trade   Promotion   Organisation (ITPO) in association with the CISF, CRPF, BSF, ITBP, DFS and SPGI.

The  expo proved a resounding success in terms of participation and visitor response.  As many as 7000 nos. (approx.) Delegates, Senior Government officials, Security Managers, Security professionals visited the expo.

Today, this expo has become the oldest and the largest showcase of latest advancements in the field of security, fire safety and disaster management. This growth is solely attributed to the commitment of ITPO in promoting the Indian trade and self reliance in the field of security, while it is extremely difficult for the manufacturers, importers and integrators to move with their equipment to various locations and far- flung areas for demonstrations.  The Expo, inter alia, showcased state-of-the-art product and technologies in the fields of home land security, fire safety, traffic management, industrial safety, disaster management and rescue & relief.

A number of prominent companies had displayed a wide range of products and services.  Prominent among those were the companies which were felicitated with awards in different categories. In the bare space segment, the Gold Trophy was presented to M/s.  Zen Technologies Ltd., M/s. Tata Power Co. Ltd. won the Silver and M/s. ESSL received the Bronze Trophy. M/s. Slingshot Security Solution Pvt. Ltd., M/s. SG Marketing Pvt. Ltd. and M/s. Pelican Products & Services India received the Gold, Silver and Bronze trophies respectively in the shell scheme category. In the Government and PSUs segment, Delhi Police was honoured with the   Gold trophy; Ordinance Factory Board received the Silver while CISF received the Bronze trophy. 

To make the event more meaningful, the Security Expo attracted security managers towards the live demos of the equipment and new innovations. The exhibition was successful in bringing together all the stakeholders at one platform by promoting business interactions, technology and need based technology.

Fulfilling  aspirations   of  the  security  and  safety  agencies and  conducive environment  for  growth  of  the  industry,  ITPO  has  geared up  to  hold  its 19th  edition  of  the IISE2016            (September19-21) at Hall No.8-11 Pragati Maidan New  Delhi.
