Ambernath, Badlapur is the two small town in Mumbai suburban area, on 1st June both municipal got email message from District Disaster cell Thane, 3rd  June at 3 pm Nisarg Chalti Wadal will came so everybody be alert, on that day Thane Dist, Guardian Minister Shri Eknath ji Shinde call V C of all Corporation and municipal councils which comes under Thane District. They clarify in V C on 3rd June at 1pm the Centre point of Cyclone is showing Ambernath city. So Both municipal be alert. After that Ambernath Chief officer mr Patankar and Badlapur chief officer Mr. Dipak Pujari immediately called Emergence Disaster meeting with all HOD.
In this type of situation main role of Fire Dept. So next day for Ambernath city I prepare one regular fire team for East area. And two QRT team for west area, bcoz west area mostly Slums. Deploy the three teams for Ambernath and for Badlapur keep ready two QRT team for east and west, Approximately 1 pm Heavy wind was started followed by heave Rain, then back to back i got tree collaps call in both cities on my mobile , due to Strom Bsnl landline was Disconnected so I got Hundreds of tree collaps call on my cell,. Therefore already for Ambernth and Badlapur I kept ready Five Teams to fight with NISARG CHKRIWADAL.
In each team consists of Petrol wood cutters 2 nos with extra chain, oil and petrol in stock, 4 koyate, 2 large Axe, ropes n line again one Electric wood cutter machine. At the same time all five teams started tree cutting which was collaps on main roads, Internal road, Mseb lines, bunglow, Apartments, houses, on cars, and vehicles.on 3rd June in Badlapur till night 12.30 the work was going to clear the trees. And in Ambernath till midnight 2.30 the work was going tree cutting. Again 4th June morning 6amwe got ground + one residential Bld structure is collaps and near about 20 people with child’s stuck on 1st floor In NAJIM Apt Ambernath. Immediately me and my team reached the spot and Rescued 18 people from 1st floor using Ladders. Rain was continuesly collaps on 3rd and 4th June.
We finished rescue operation till 8.30 and again move on tree collaps calls in both cities. Due to Nisarg wadal may be God Blessing the Dencity and effect of Nisarg cyclone in both city was less among than Kokan division. So not a single person injured or death due to cyclone Only tree collaps by heavy strom and rain. IÂ am proud of my Ambernath and Badlapur Firefighters, becoz whole two day in the rain without taking any hault they were cutting the trees to start Electricity, water supply tel. Service which was damaged by Nisarg Cyclone in both city for citizens .
