FIRE INDIA& SAFETYEX-2017 has closed its doors after 3 wonderful days in Mumbai

fire india 1Asia’s largest fire and safety show, acknowledged for its utmost contribution to the Indian fire community, had takenplace on 7-8-9 September 2017 at BCEC, Goregaon, Mumbai. Accompanied by a supreme verve of the fire industry, the exhibition hasbrought on to the table an array of ingenious solutions, advanced products and industry expertise.

FIRE INDIA opened with a memorable inauguration of the conference and exhibition, honored by Mr. Prakash Mishra, IPS, DG, FS, CD & HG, Min. of Home Affairs, Govt. Of India.RandeepHooda, Brand Ambassador for Indian Fire Services, graced the show with his presence and added a touch of glamour to the festive spirit of the inauguration.

The Institution of Fire Engineers (India) organized the 12th edition in series of conferences with new flavor of topical issue and technologies. The conference themed was “Fire and Life Safety Challenges with modern build environments”. Technical papers presented by eminent professional’s experts in divergent fields from various countries. “Theexperiencewas very well received and appreciated by visitors and exhibitors”, said Mr. U. S. Chhillar, General Secretary of Institution of Fire Engineers (India).“I am pleased with the response that the event had got and this kind of encouragement provides fuel to do even better for the next edition”.

More than 450 delegates – Fire service officers, fire and life safety managers, architects, engineers, and loss assessors –registered and participated in the conference and visited the exhibition.

The event has achieved in attracting more than 150 domestic and international exhibit, likers – India, China, UAE, UK, USA, France, Germany, Netherlands, Russia, Singapore and South Korea.

We had participated in numerous exhibitions in India but FIRE INDIA is quite amazing where visitors are quite interesting & increase every time. Finally the exhibition was wonderful”, said Mr. Chris Hazelby Sales Director, FFE Limited

 

The Innovation Awards has been launched in order to bring the efforts of the industry into the light as well as cater to the demands of the market.

We got many candidates and 3 winners.Naffco got the first prize of the Innovation awards 2017 for its innovation brand – Shield (24/7 continuous monitoring of Fire Fighting equipment and direct connection to the Central Remote Monitoring Station).Safex, bagged the second prize for -Safex Mobile Fire Extinguisher Service Solution (The Safex Mobile Fire Extinguisher Service Solution is equipped with automatic machinery to appropriately service and refill all kinds of powder, water and foam fire extinguishers)  and the third prize went to FireTrace  for theirinnovation (an approved fire suppression for electrical systems).

The Awards ceremony was a key moment of the exhibition.

Building on the success of matchmaking program launched in Chennai, Go Connect, a much more advanced tool has been opened up to the pre-registered visitors and the exhibitors of the show. Go Connect assisted the attendees to design their visit to the show in the most effective and efficient manner.

300+ business meetings were scheduled through our matchmaking program. We will continue to improve our matchmaking platform in order to deliver a better outputfor the next edition.
