The 19th edition of India International Security Expo was graded as one of the premier exhibitions on Homeland Security, Fire safety, Traffic Management, Industrial Safety, Disaster Management and Information security. As Security is one of the most important issues in any setting, a bank, home, school, hospital, mall, social gathering etc, This expo successfully provided the different, viable and effective solutions to all. This event was aimed to strengthen the home land security scenario in India which requires Government's objective of promoting modernisation of the sector in consonance with rising threats and perceptions. It focussed on new ranges of gadgets and systems in the field of surveillance, explosive detection & disposal, fire fighting, Access control, Radio communication, training equipments and automotive security sectors.
The event was organised by India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) in association with the MHA, CISF, CRPF, BSF, ITBP, DFS and SPGI. It was inaugurated by Shri. Kiren Rijiju the minister of state for home affairs. The expo received the very warm welcome from participants and visitors as well. As many as 7000 nos. (approx.) Delegates, Senior Government officials, Security Managers, Security professionals visited the expo. This time 13 MSME companies participated in the expo through NSIC.
A number of prominent companies had displayed a wide range of products and services. The live demo of drone and security & fire drills were organised during the expo. The event also provided an excellent platform to new young entrepreneurs and professionals to get insights of vast potentials that exist under the Make in India campaign. With a view to encourage new and young entrepreneurs, ITPO offered the stalls at a discount of 50 per cent of the prescribed rentals.
To make the event more meaningful, the seminars on subject of topical interest were held during the currency of exhibition. These included ‘Importance of an effective interface between industry and Central/State police force, Anti Drone solutions, Smart policing and Tactical command solutions, then Ongoing projects at National Centres of Excellence in Technology for Internal Security (NCETIS), Building mass rapid transport system, Growing threats in aviation security and strategy to handle it and many more.
Fulfilling the aspirations of the security and safety companies and providing conducive environment for growth of the industry, ITPO has geared up to hold its 20th edition of the IISE2017 (October,05-07) at Hall No.8-11 Pragati Maidan New Delhi.
