Mr. Varun Budhiraja, the 3rd generation of the Roger Group of Industries has joined ESFI as a Director. EURO Safety Footwear (I) Pvt. Ltd. has been manufacturing and exporting safety footwear since more than a decade now; so now with a fresh mind set, Mr. Varun is ready to launch 'EURO SECURITY' in the domestic Indian market featuring different kinds of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
On being asked what possibly can he do differently in a business that is being successfully managed by two generations since 40 years now, he said, "It is a misconception people carry that family businesses are a piece of cake. When you have to start from scratch, failures are relatively easier to accept because it motivates you and pushes you but when you know there is a business running prosperously since four decades, you don't want to be the reason for its downfall.
I carry a different outlook towards business probably because of my educational background but how I work is very different from my elders. Investing in machinery or designs or even infrastructure is secondary to me; I invest in people. 'EURO SECURITY' is a promise to all the thinkers and builders of India that I will leave no stone unturned to invest in India's safety, in Indians' safety."
