Delhi to hold a two-day international conference on Disaster Management
New Delhi: Addressing the cause of Disaster Management; The Global Inclusive Disaster Management Conference (GiDMC) marked an impactful first edition in 2018. The sequel edition is launched and scheduled for 1-2 July 2019 at Le Méridien, Hotel, New Delhi. This year the event is being organized by United Nations Global Compact Network and will be revolving around the theme of “Towards Resilient Future – Preparedness, Response, Recovery, Mitigation”.
GiDMC 2019 has also witnessed great support form PSUs, Corporates, NGOs and major associations involved in addressing the cause from all across the globe. The Navaratna PSU Oil India Limited (OIL), the Maharatna companies – GAIL India Limited & ONGC and the India Red Cross Society are the major supporters of the Show.
Alongside great support from the authorities and United Nations bodies, GiDMC 2019 has so far seen a great partnership with elite brands like Deloitte, Ernst and Young, Airport Authority of India, Kerala Startup Mission, Asian Disaster Preparedness Center, Save the Children, INSARAG, Integrated Volunteers Network and many more. The conference this year is aimed to witness 500+ Global Attendees, 60+ Speakers and participation from more than 10 Countries.
