Asian Fire Safety Expo (AFSE) 2024 – International Exhibition and Conference on Fire Safety Technology, organised by the Centre for Fire Explosive & Environment Safety (CFEES) of DRDO, Ministry of Defence, Government of India in collaboration with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), held from 21-23 November 2024 at Yashobhoomi, Dwarka, New Delhi.

The event was supported by the Fire Protection Association of India (FPAI), and Asia Fire-Protection Inspection Council (AFIC). The main objective of the event was to provide an International Platform to industries to showcase their products and participation in R&D, technology development, test & evaluation and standard formulation in fire safety.
AFSE 2024 was held concurrently with the India Korea Industry Expo (India Industry Expo 2024 and Ko-Index 2024), where KINTEX of Republic of Korea showcased the largest ever display in India of Korean products and technologies on multiple industry sectors. Over 250 companies, representing multiple sectors of the industry, and around 400 delegates from Korean Industry and Government participated at the India Korea Industry Expo, scheduled over the three days at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi. The event was recommended by the Embassy of India in Seoul, South Korea, and supported by the Federal and Provincial governments of the Republic of Korea.

The AFSE 2024 exhibition attracted participation of over 50 exhibitors, showcasing latest products, innovation and technology in the areas of fire protection, fire-fighting and other services. Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Delhi Fire Services (DFS) also took part in this event to create awareness about Fire Protection related areas by putting up their stands and showcasing various methods and equipment being used in Fire Protection process.

During AFSE 2024, an International Seminar on “Latest Trends in Fire Safety and Future Prospective” held on 21 & 22 November 2024 at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi. The Seminar was addressed by experts from India and overseas and attended by key players from the Fire Safety sector deliberating on latest developments, innovations, concerns, and solutions for improving fire safety technology and measures for fire protection in India.
The AFSE 2024 was closed on a positive note by exhibitors expressing their interest to participate in the next edition of the event.
