FIRE INDIA 2025 Curtain Raiser: A Grand Prelude to India’s Premier Fire Safety Showcase

The Curtain Raiser of FIRE INDIA 2025 – Industry Meet & Preview was held with great enthusiasm and industry participation on 24th July 2025 at The Fern, Goregaon (East), Mumbai. This high-level gathering marked the official prelude to the much-awaited FIRE INDIA 2025 Exhibition and Conference, one of Asia’s leading events dedicated to fire safety, protection, and emergency response. Commencing at 6:00 PM, the evening brought together senior fire officers, technology providers, industry leaders, and media professionals under one roof to celebrate the event’s legacy and preview the innovations to be unveiled.

The program opened with a powerful narration of Fire India’s historical journey, tracing its evolution over decades from a modest trade show to a comprehensive international platform for fire protection technology, training, and knowledge sharing. The organizers emphasized the critical role of IFE India Chapter, the Institution of Fire Engineers, in shaping the technical strength of the event since its inception. Their continued partnership with Services International, the exhibition organizer, has helped ensure that Fire India remains a vital confluence of public service, innovation, and industry.

Mr. U.S. Chillar, President of IFE India, delivered an insightful address highlighting the need for continuous skill development, adoption of global best practices, and innovation-led fire service modernization. He reinforced IFE’s commitment to supporting India’s fire professionals through research, policy inputs, and international collaboration.

This was followed by Mr. Sandeep Guruwara, the Event Director and Head of Fire India Expo, who provided a detailed glimpse into the upcoming exhibition. He highlighted key features of FIRE INDIA 2025, including the Innovation Zone, Live Demo Areas, and enhanced international participation. He emphasized the event’s role as a strategic business and knowledge platform that brings together global manufacturers, fire departments, disaster response agencies, and infrastructure developers.

A visual showcase featuring a presentation and video of past Fire India editions took the audience on a nostalgic and inspirational journey, reflecting the growing scale and impact of the event over the years.

Mr. Lou from Dahua Technologies presented their latest AI-integrated fire alarm systems, emphasizing reliability and smart building integration.

A moment of appreciation was extended to Dr. Nirranjan Kumar Gupta, Editor of Fire & Safety Magazines, the official media partner. The team also announced the launch of a “Fire Show Daily” A Daily supplement of 24 pages – covering live updates during the main event all three days.

A key highlight of the evening was the technical presentation by Mr. Deepak Ghosh, Deputy Chief Fire Officer of Mumbai Fire Brigade, on the “Role of Drones & Robotics in Firefighting & Disaster Response.” His insightful talk covered the real-time applications of UAVs and ground robots in rescue missions and fire operations, along with a synopsis of his achievements at the World Fire & Police Games, where he led the Indian fire brigade team.

The evening concluded with a group photo, followed by a networking dinner, signaling a strong and collaborative start to FIRE INDIA 2025—a landmark platform for advancing fire safety across India.
