Security symposium held in Delhi showcasing latest trends in security technology

The Homeland Security, a unique event was held on March 17, 202 with a collaborative effort of IIRIS Consulting Pvt Ltd, ASIS Delhi Chapter and Technology Partners. It was highlighted the importance of staying up to date on the latest security trends and technologies. The event featured various companies presenting their innovative security solutions and products. The purpose of the event was to inform and educate the attendees on the latest trends in security technology and how it can be applied to enhance homeland security.

The security symposium attended by various army veterans, government officials, business leaders, security professionals, and students of security related programs in India.

The purpose of the symposium was to discuss the latest trends in security, risk management and technology and how to combat the evolving threat landscape.

It was inaugurated by Mr Sanjeev Kumar, Chairman- TCIL. He also shared his views on cyber security, telecom industry and impact of cyber threats to the population.

A thought-provoking session on Use of technology and Forensic Science was headed by Dr Vikram Singh-India’s most decorated police officer and a Limca Book of awards winner and Dr H.M Naqvi, CGM Technical-NHAI, India.

The event had very intuitive panel discussions and audience interactions with prominent leaders of the security industry like Mr G. B Singh-Editor Security Today, Captain Shakeel Ahmed, SVP Organisational Resilience and Workplace Services-Gamescraft and Mr.Mahendra Karakoti, Director Security India-Schneider Electric. It was concluded by much awaited enlightening session by Mr Maroof Raza, an expert and magnificent speaker of geopolitical scenarios of India and mainly its relationship with China. Later followed by in person interactions and book share out by him.

The key players in manufacturing state of the art security systems like IIRIS Consulting, Veracity, Energasia, Awiros and Gallagher also showcased their solutions using the technology.

Impact: The colloquium had a significant impact on the audience, as they were able to gain valuable insights into the latest cybersecurity trends and how to protect their organizations from cyber threats. The keynote speakers provided valuable information on the latest threats and how to mitigate them, while the panel discussions provided an opportunity for attendees to share their own experiences and insights. The symposium had several key takeaways that impacted the audience, including:

Increased awareness of cyber threats and its applicability of cyber security in homeland security: Attendees gained a better understanding of the evolving cyber threat landscape and the need to be more proactive in protecting their organizations.

Best practices for Homeland security and Road Safety challenges: The symposium provided attendees with insights into the best practices for Road safety and its initiative in India, including implementing risk assessments in Indian Landscape. Conducting regular vulnerability assessments, and training employees on Security technology.

Key highlight at the event was the showcase of technology related to access control, modern surveillance, smart poles and smart intrusion detection systems which was presented by the experts of same.

Networking opportunities: Attendees had the opportunity to network with other professionals in the industry, which allowed them to share their own experiences and gain new perspectives on how to approach the evolving threat challenges in corporate security world.

Overall, the security symposium had a significant impact on the audience, as they were able to gain valuable insights into the latest trends in Homeland security, how technology is shaping the security world to become more relevant and overall risk management framework in India.
