IISE 2017 AN IDEAL EXPO FOR FORCE MULTIPLIERS

The 20^th edition of India International Security Expo was organized with support of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from October 05 to 07, 2017.  This is the only security expo in India which enjoys the support of all States Police Forces, BPR&D, Delhi Fire Services and Special Forces such as NSG and NDRF.  The aim of the event was to project cross-spectrum technology based security capability as well as features fresh avenues for development of skilled task force.

• IISE 2017 was inaugurated by Shri C.R. Chaudhary, Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industry. 
•   Shri Kiran Rijiju, the Minister of State for Home Affairs also visited the show. 
• 8000 nos. Delegates, Senior Government Officials, Security Managers and Security Professionals visited the expo. 
• 16 nos. MSME companies participated in the expo through NSIC. 
• The event also highlighted the initiatives taken by the industry to promote manufacturing of the security equipment and gadgets under the ‘Make in India’ campaign launched by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India.  
• 80% companies were new and displayed the products which are of common use for the police personnel as well as to all those who are concerned with the security of man and material.-
• Seminars on subject of tropical interest were held during the currency of exhibition.  These included “Technological Empowerment of Police for Effective Public Service Delivery, “Easing the Process of Public Procurement in Internal Security” and one speaking slot for Exhibitors was also organized.
• Dedicated meetings slots for exhibitors with various high ranked Government officials were also provided.         “`

Future editions of the events such as IISE will enjoy the benefit of modern infrastructure as ITPO has already initiated work on its ambitious project of redevelopment of world class Integrated Exhibition-cum-Convention Centre (IECC) at Pragati Maidan.

To fulfill the aspirations of the security and safety companies and to take a step ahead towards bringing the nation to the “NEW INDIA”, ITPO has geared up to hold the 21^st edition of the IISE 2018 (October 05-07) at Hall No.8-11, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
