International Police Expo 2026: Advancing the Future of Smart Policing and Homeland Security

24–25 June 2026 | Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, India

The future of policing is increasingly being shaped by technology. From artificial intelligence and autonomous systems to advanced forensics, cyber intelligence and indigenous defence platforms, security agencies today require solutions that enable faster decision-making, improved situational awareness and greater operational readiness.

This transformation was on full display at International Police Expo 2026, held on 24–25 June 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. Organised by Nexgen Exhibitions Pvt. Ltd., alongside 10th India Homeland Security Expo and 7th Drone International Expo, the event brought together more than 300 exhibitors from over 25 countries, making it one of Asia’s largest and most influential gatherings for homeland security, defence and policing technologies. The exhibition welcomed more than 10,000+ visitors including senior police officials, defence personnel, government agencies, technology innovators and security professionals from India and across the globe, creating an ideal platform for knowledge exchange, business collaboration and technology adoption.

A Showcase of Next-Generation Security Technologies

This year’s edition featured more than 300 innovative products and solutions, reflecting the rapid evolution of technologies supporting law enforcement, border security, disaster response and critical infrastructure protection. The exhibition floor presented a comprehensive spectrum of innovations, including AI-powered surveillance systems, autonomous drones, counter-drone technologies, digital forensics, cybersecurity platforms, tactical mobility solutions, smart communication systems and emergency response equipment.

A defining characteristic of International Police Expo 2026 was the convergence of multiple technologies into integrated security solutions. Rather than standalone products, exhibitors demonstrated complete operational ecosystems capable of collecting, analysing and acting upon real-time intelligence, enabling agencies to respond more efficiently to emerging threats.

Artificial Intelligence Moves to the Frontline

Artificial Intelligence emerged as the dominant technology theme across the exhibition. AI is no longer viewed as a future capability but as a practical operational tool supporting policing and homeland security.

Exhibitors showcased AI-driven predictive policing platforms, intelligence fusion centres, facial recognition systems, video analytics, deepfake detection, digital investigation tools and advanced cyber intelligence platforms. These solutions demonstrated how artificial intelligence is enabling security agencies to process vast amounts of information, identify threats more quickly and improve operational decision-making.

The growing integration of AI into surveillance, investigation and command-and-control systems reinforced its role as a critical enabler of modern policing.

Indigenous Innovation Driving Self-Reliance

The exhibition also highlighted India’s expanding defence manufacturing capabilities and its commitment to Aatmanirbhar Bharat.

One of the key attractions was Tyto, India’s first indigenous bolt-action sniper rifle chambered in .300 Blackout. Designed and manufactured in India, the rifle showcased the country’s growing expertise in advanced defence engineering and precision weapon systems.

Another major highlight was Varaha, an innovative acoustic counter-drone system capable of detecting hostile drones through their sound signatures rather than relying solely on radar or radio-frequency technologies. As drone threats continue to evolve, such passive detection systems represent an important advancement in protecting critical infrastructure and sensitive installations.

India’s first AI-powered Anti-Drone Patrol Vehicle (ADPV) also attracted significant attention. Designed to detect, track and neutralise drone threats while on the move, the platform illustrated how artificial intelligence and autonomous mobility are redefining airspace security.

Alongside these innovations, exhibitors presented indigenous UAVs, loitering munitions, armoured vehicles, robotic systems, rugged communication equipment and advanced surveillance technologies, demonstrating the breadth of India’s growing defence ecosystem.

Advancing Forensics and Public Safety

Beyond defence technologies, International Police Expo 2026 showcased solutions that strengthen criminal investigations, forensic science and emergency response capabilities.

Advanced mobile forensic laboratories, digital evidence extraction platforms and cyber investigation solutions demonstrated how technology is helping law enforcement agencies accelerate investigations while improving the accuracy of evidence collection and analysis.

A particularly noteworthy attraction was the demonstration of AI-enabled ground-penetrating radar, capable of locating survivors trapped beneath collapsed buildings by distinguishing between debris, reinforced concrete and human movement. The technology highlighted its potential to significantly improve disaster response, urban search-and-rescue operations and humanitarian assistance, receiving considerable attention from visitors and industry observers.

Cybersecurity Takes Centre Stage

As cyber threats continue to grow in sophistication, cybersecurity featured prominently throughout the exhibition.

Companies showcased comprehensive cyber intelligence platforms covering phishing detection, digital forensics, OSINT intelligence, encrypted communications, deception technologies and AI-powered deepfake detection. These solutions reflected the increasing need for integrated cyber resilience across law enforcement, defence and critical infrastructure protection.

The exhibition reinforced that modern homeland security extends beyond physical protection, requiring equal emphasis on securing digital assets and critical information systems.

Building Partnerships for Future Security

International Police Expo has evolved beyond a traditional trade exhibition into a strategic platform for collaboration between government agencies, police organisations, defence manufacturers, technology companies, startups and international partners.

Live demonstrations, technical presentations and business interactions enabled stakeholders to exchange knowledge, explore emerging technologies and develop partnerships that support the modernisation of policing and homeland security capabilities.

Looking Ahead

International Police Expo 2026 successfully demonstrated how innovation is transforming the future of policing and homeland security. From artificial intelligence and advanced analytics to indigenous defence platforms, autonomous systems and smart forensic technologies, the exhibition highlighted practical solutions designed to address today’s complex security challenges.
