Reliance Retail Concludes National Safety Week with the 4th Annual SAFEtitude Summit

As part of National Safety Week (4–10 March), Reliance Retail hosted the 4th Annual SAFEtitude Summit 2025–26, celebrating individuals, teams and functions who have demonstrated exemplary commitment towards Health, Safety, Environment and Sustainability. The event brought together leadership, industry experts and employees to reflect on key milestones, share insights and recognise excellence in safety and sustainability.

Reliance Retail observed National Safety Week across its locations with a series of engagement initiatives aimed at reinforcing a strong culture of safety. Activities conducted during the week included toolbox talks, training sessions, safety pledges, banner displays and awareness programmes, encouraging employees to actively prioritise safety and well-being in everyday operations.

The week concluded with the 4th Annual SAFEtitude Summit, Reliance Retail’s flagship Rewards and Recognition programme that honours individuals, teams and functions driving excellence in safety and sustainability across the organisation.

Leadership Insights and Industry Perspectives

The summit commenced with a Leadership Address by Mr. Anoop Agarwal, VP & Head – FM, Malls & HSE, who emphasised the importance of embedding safety as a core organisational value and strengthening collective responsibility towards workplace well-being.

The event was further enriched by insightful perspectives from esteemed external guests Mr. Suresh Tanwar, Dr. Nirranjan Kumar Gupta and Mr. Avdesh Malaiya, who shared valuable insights on advancing safety practices and sustainability initiatives across industries.

HSE Snapshot and Digital Platform

An HSE Snapshot for FY 2025–26 was shared by Mr. Kumar Gaurav, Head – HSE & Sustainability, highlighting key milestones and progress achieved across Reliance Retail during the year.

During the event, an overview of the upcoming HSE digital platform currently under review was also shared, outlining how technology will further strengthen safety engagement and governance across all levels of the organisation.

Recognising Excellence in Safety and Sustainability

The summit concluded with the SAFEtitude Awards, celebrating employees and teams whose dedication continues to strengthen a culture of safety, sustainability and responsible operations across Reliance Retail.

With another successful edition of the SAFEtitude Summit, Reliance Retail continues to move forward with renewed purpose-strengthening safety practices, advancing sustainability and fostering a resilient workplace where safety remains everyone’s responsibility.
