Vicon Showcases STQC-Certified Solutions at CCTV Expo, Receives Overwhelming Response from Industry

Pune 5th August – Vicon Industries, a global leader in video surveillance solutions, successfully showcased its STQC-certified product lineup at the recently held CCTV Expo at Bharat Mandapam, Delhi, drawing exceptional interest and appreciation from system integrators, consultants, and end-users alike.

The highlight of Vicon’s showcase was its range of STQC-certified IP cameras, designed to meet the stringent security and quality requirements set by the Indian government for critical infrastructure deployments. These products are fully compliant with OWASP guidelines and aligned with the Government of India’s digital security standards—making them ideal for use in Smart Cities, Safe City initiatives, and other mission-critical applications.

“The response at the expo was phenomenal,” said Gaurav Taywade, Director – India Operations, Vicon. “Customers appreciated not just the compliance aspect, but also the performance, image quality, and the seamless integration with our Valerus VMS platform. We’ve clearly struck the right chord with the Indian market by prioritizing security, reliability, and government certifications.”

During the expo, Vicon’s booth drew heavy footfall from:

  • Government decision-makers
  • Security consultants and specifiers
  • Large SI partners
  • Representatives from defense, transportation, and industrial sectors

The Vicon team also conducted live demos of the Valerus Video Management System, showcasing its intuitive interface, cybersecurity capabilities, and real-time video intelligence features. Visitors expressed strong interest in adopting Vicon’s end-to-end NDAA-compliant ecosystem, particularly for government and enterprise installations.

This successful showcase further reinforces Vicon’s commitment to the Indian market and its ongoing efforts to provide localized, compliant, and future-ready surveillance solutions.
