PM Mr. Narendra Modi’s visit surprised everyone present at Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction 3-5 Nov 2016 @ Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi
It is indeed a pleasure to inform that one of the members from our Fire Industry had a wonderful opportunity to meet our Honourable PM and give presentation about his products.
The event was Asian Ministerial Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction which was held from 3-5th November at VigyanBhavan, New Delhi where exhibition was part of the event in which M/s Integral Safety Engineers had displayed their wide range of Disaster Management & Rescue Equipments particularly Made In India “Mini Hydraulic Rescue Kit” and “Floating pump”
Excerpts From Mr. Umesh Basarkar (RHS Explaining the Product)
“The conference was scheduled to start at 9:30 pm and our PM arrived sharp at 9:25 at the conference venue and the event started bang on time. It was absolute pleasure listening to our PM speaking so deeply about Disaster Management including reference to past conferences and action taken by India regarding on those conclusions without hardly referring to any notes.
Earlier we were not sure whether our PM will visit the Exhibition area, but during the conference we were informed that he will be visiting the exhibition as well. “My heart skipped a beat” as I will be seeing the person who has made the entire world notice India. And moreover PM was scheduled to enter through the Emergency Exit and our stall was bang opposite to it.
And the time came, our PM entered and directly came to our stall. For a moment I was completely speechless, words refusing to come out of my mouth. But quickly I gathered my senses and said to myself maybe you will never ever get such an opportunity.
Since I had a limited time I decided to present only our Made in India “Mini Hydraulic Kit” and “Floating pump”. It took around 2-3 minutes for me to explain these 2 products and till then our PM was so focussed on what I was saying that his eyes did not wander elsewhere even once. May be that is the reason he can speak on any subject at length because he listens, learns and goes deep in every subject. Only after I finished, he appreciated and said “Badhiyahai, aagebadho” that he left our stall.
To sum up, it was an awesome opportunity to meet our dynamic PM and the respect I had for him has multiplied by many times. It is an moment which I will cherish for my entire lifetime.
