Mumbai witnessed the spectacular opening of Fire India 2025 on September 25th at the Bombay Exhibition Center, marking the beginning of a three-day showcase that redefined the trajectory of fire safety and emergency management in the country. Held from September 25th to 27th, the event brought together an impressive gathering of experts, innovators, and leaders from across the fire safety ecosystem—each united in their mission to build a safer, more resilient India.

The grand inaugural ceremony set the tone for the expo, with Dr. Sudhanshu Sarangi, IPS, Director General, Fire & Emergency Service; Commandant General, Home Guards; and Director, Civil Defence, Odisha, gracing the dais as the Chief Guest. In his keynote address, Dr. Sarangi highlighted the challenges and opportunities before the nation’s fire safety sector. Stressing the urgent need for advanced technologies, modern infrastructure, and skilled manpower*, he underlined how the sector must rise to meet the demands of India’s urban and industrial growth with resilience and innovation.
