Hikvision recently participated as the presenting partner for Project heads, Architects & Consultants Conclave (PACC) 2017 event in Bangkok. The 5th edition of Fire and Security Association of India's PACC 2017 was concluded successfully in Bangkok, Thailand. PACC brought together Project heads, Architects & Consultants to discuss industry trends.
The PACC 2017 event started with an opening remark by mr.K.P. Dominic, Chair, Branding & Marketing, FSAI. It was followed by a welcome address by Mr. Pankaj Dharkar, National President, FSAI.
Speaking at the occasion, Mr. Pankaj Dharkar, National President, FSAI said, “In today's world, digitisation is playing the most important role in achieving efficiency in every industry. Leveraging the technological evolutions, our aim is to create state-of-the-art buildings that address the need-of-the-hour of being Green and Sustainable. Together with IoT, we need new innovative construction materials, key technologies, equipment, and machines for future sustainable developments.”
The PACC delegates were greeted by Mr. Ashish P. Dhakan, MD & CEO, Prama Hikvision India.During the event, Hikvision also showcased its latest solutions through its presentation for buildings and the real estate industry. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Ashish P. Afterthe initial sessions, a presentation on the theme “Intelligent Surveillance in Railway/Metro/Airport- How it works” was given by Vinay Mishra, Vice President- Projects, Hikvision.
Hikvision also participated in the BIG-6 Debate, which was moderated by Pamoud Rao, MD, Zicom. Ashish P. Dhakan, MD& CEO, Prama Hikvision India, was among six panelists, who participated in the debate on trending video surveillance technology themes like Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning.
On the final day at PACC 17, Hikvision hadparticipated in two presentation slots. The first slot was representedby Ashish Gujarathi,Product Manager, Prama Hikvision India on the theme “IP Technology- Eyes & Ear”. The second presentation was given by Gagan Lamba, Head of Verticals-Banking, Financial Institutions and Education, Prama Hikvision India, on the theme “Technology to Secure India in 2025”.
The event was attended by over 500 delegates, which included top bureaucrats, renowned architects, consultants, finest technocrats, accomplished fire safety and security professionals across India and other countries.
The event focused on exchanging information about standards, codes and best practices and emerging technologies for creating Smart and Sustainable Buildings. It addressed the growing need for leveraging digitization and the Internet of Things (IoT) in the segment.
