In its endeavor to focus on “ZERO HARM” at home, the work place, or anywhere for that matter, Safety Professional's Federation (SPF) in Association with Fire & Safety Magazine (Kings Expomedia LTD) along with support from SAMA organized the first Gujarat State Level Annual Safety Conference and Exhibition on 30th & 31th January 2018 named “Safe India Safe Gujarat Expo”.
The Exhibition had 62 Stalls of Manufactures, Dealers & Distributors from the Health & Safety as well as Fire Sectors who participated in the Exhibition where the Exhibitors availed the opportunity to showcase their latest products and services in order to create awareness and educate the visitors with newer developments and technologies. The 2 day exhibition was held in the industrial belt of Gujarat (Ankleshwer).
The Saviors Awards that were dedicated especially to Safety related Personnel from the safety fraternity and also KING's very own Safe India Hero Plus Awards were presented to 25 Safety & Fire Fraternity of various Companies such as Surat Fire & Emergency Services, Essar Steel Fire Team, Adani Fire Team, Reliance Koramangala team & Lupin team etc…
Even though this was the very first exhibition & conference that was organized by SPF it attracted good footfalls and exhibitors and safety professionals from all over India were in attendance. It proved a great platform for business matching and networking. SPF promises to maintain its strong commitment towards the exhibitors as well as the safety industry as a whole in future with efforts like this.
This Exhibition was visited by a variety of enthusiasts like Health & Safety Professionals, Managers, Consultants, factory Owners, Operators, Specialists, college students etc.
About Safety Professionals Federation
Safety Professionals Federation (SPF) is the voice of Safety Professionals like Safety Officers, Safety Heads, OSH & HSE Managers & heads as well as manufactures & distributors of various Safety HSE Equipments as well as a trade body within the safety industry.
This Initiative primarily owes its origin to Mr. Piyush Jain who is also the president of the SPF. It is supported by Shri Mr. N. K. Gupta. C.E.O. Kings Expo Media LTD., media baron and publisher of four renowned Monthly Magazines on Safety Industry like “Fire & Safety”, “Focus Persona Protective Equipments” etc.
The Safety Professional Federation had its launch in OSH India Chennai that had given a huge boost to the SPF membership programme as the SPF began enrolling members from manufacturers, distributors, test houses, certification bodies, safety professionals and service providers. Our publications were launched at the OSH Chennai Expo too. This launch was highly appreciated by many of the Owners of Safety Equipments manufacturers, Industry heads & HSE Heads as well as OSH and EHS Fraternity.
The aim of Safety Professional Federation is to provide support and guidance on a wide range of occupational safety issues to educate people about safety-related regulations and practices. It provides a ground for Safety professionals to ensure that they have the latest information, proper equipment and access to the elected officials and administrators that administer these regulations. SPF ensures that all workers are properly trained and certified; not just for the job they are presently doing but for the safety and well being of the environment too with emergency preparedness, first aid training and active shooter scenarios. Being safe at work means being trained and tested to meet all situations.
