Prepardness of Covid-19 Pandemic @ Phoenix Marketcity Kurla

The Covid-19 pandemic was declared by WHO and likewise by our Government authorities and the effect was seen all over the world similarly the effect were also seen on all the sectors. Majority of the effect was seen on the Retail industry. We at Phoenix Marketcity Kurla had prepared a COVID-19 Crisis Management team with our internal departmental Manager’s and prepared the road map for the mitigation and Heath safety of all our mall staff, external customers and retail staff. We also had a preliminary meeting with all our HOD’s Centre Director and brief them about our preparedness. And the first ever COVID-19 CDMT was form with Operation (Housekeeping, Floor Manager), Security and Fire Safety, Engineering team over all 20 personal from above mention department were agreed to stay in mall including one senior person from each Dept. of Ops, Engg, and Sec and Fire Safety. Likewise two team were formed All arrangement for Food, Staying was made in mall itself to overcome and critical situation.

Entire mall was categories in various level and sanitization with disinfectant was being done with help of HK team and pest control team. This exercise was done on daily basis all the personal were given all required PPE’ (Hand Gloves, Face Mask). Each and every person coming to mall during lock down all the person were checked with thermal temperature gun and data was maintain. Daily Update was given to our management. For this COVID-19 Lockdown Whts app was formed. And all the information was shared in this group .All the Team were doing their duties in 3 Shift.

Only some of essential store such as reliance smart were kept open and all safety precaution were taken to avoid customer crown social distancing was made in practice at all mall’s Sec Gate and mall’s entrance area also Sec Guard & Rounds were deployed to manage the crowd required PPE’s such as face shield, face mask, hand gloves were issued to team.

Role of Engineering and Fire safety team during lockdown all the team in coordination were given the task to check all common area equipment and functioning in healthy condition such as AHU’s, Exhaust fans, Chillers plant, Fire water pump house, HT and LT panel were monitor round the clock. Fire Marshal were given the task to check all store to avoid any mishap due to electrical issue sprinkler burst or AHU’s leakage as all the system were shut down if any such situation was observed our KEY MANGMENT SOP was made in practice.

Role of Command Centre during Lockdown Command Centre was only one point of contact between all team which were performing their duties round the clock Command center was also kept operation round the clock the major task for Command Centre operator was to monitor Fire alarms detection system, CCTV Camera and inform team if anything suspicious activity is seen or reported over RT set.

On daily basis mall update was shared with management over video conference to have update on daily ongoing situation in mall and COVIOD-10 CDMT. We are in process to prepare a SOP for Prevention and Control of COVID-19 Post Lock down and opening of Mall. We have started to identify location inside and outside mall there social distancing caution signage are to be installed. Sanitization of all mall area. COIOVD-19 full body suite to all COVID-19 CDMT.
