Dear Mr. Joshi our readers want to know about your company “PROLITE AUTOGLO LTD.” could you brief us about the same ?
I always dreamed of doing something different and challenging, I established my company in1984 in Emergency Lighting and have come a long way. Now Prolite has reached a height where it is being demanded not only in India but outside in International markets also. We are an ISO 9001:2008 and CRISIL Certified; many of our products are CE certified as well. We have wide range of dealers network across the globe.
What are the overall business activities of your company ?
Over a period of time, we have managed to own offices in various parts of the country like Delhi, Bangalore, Baroda, Pune, Kolkata etc. Our representatives take care of their particular zones, while Mumbai being the head office, all important decisions and documentation are done via the H.O.
Being in the field of Emergency/Egress Lighting Systems, after Sales Service is an important factoras regards to our clients' satisfaction and our growth, we have our trained engineers throughout the country to provide after sales service.
Which of your products hold the Maximum Market Share and tell us about the Fire Safety market in India ?
Our Indian economy is growing very fast with lots of MNCs arriving; people are becoming aware as to why Safety Products such as our Autoglo Way Finding Systems and Prolite Emergency Escape Route Lighting is important. Even People are becoming aware of the fact that part of the expenditure done on the safety of the employees in equally important to the expensestheyincur to enhance the beauty of their office exteriors. Both of our products help in speedy evacuation and are equally important.
How do you keep your brand updated in the market ?
Although our brand Prolite and Autoglo have been approved by almost many consultants, Architects but it's true that we have to keep our brand updated, for this we not only participate in exhibitions within India but also internationally we have promoted our brand, we have made our presence felt in global markets.
As Emergency Lighting is all about technology we give special emphasis on R&D.
In order to stay on top most position we continuously look for better products, develop new products and always innovate something new in to emergency lighting, that's our Dream & Passion.
What is your product portfolio and how are your products useful ?
As people say “when there is no light there has to be PROLITE” and when you have to find an escape way out there has to be “AUTOGLO”. We feel so content and satisfied when we hear such comments; feels like all our hard work over these years have been recognised.
In “PROLITE” we have Emergency Lighting Systems/Exit Lights/ Emergency Conversion Kits/Spot Lights / Search Lights etc.
In “AUTOGLO” we have Safety Signages / Signs/ Tapes/ Route Markers/ Escape Plans/ Safety Posters/Low Location Lighting Solutions.
Our Products are must in all Residential/Commercial complexes, Industrial/Public and Private sectors as they play an important role in speedy and emergency evacuation from enclosed premises to safe areas.
Tell us your agenda on improving Prolite's position in India and the business benefits you are looking forward to ?
Today we see Prolite at a Strong and Satisfactory position but yes to hold on to that position our team has to work with same dedication. We have got enough support from top most Architects / Contractors / Consultants without which we would have never achieved such huge success. We are investing major portions of our profits in training our after sales services engineers who get opportunities to interact with our customers directly and are indirectly the face of the Company. Almost 2 to 3 % of our budget is spent on R&D and manufacturing &designing of new products.
We always look forward to interact with new and existing clientele to enhance our business performance. We are trying to expand our horizons through a strong network of dealers, traders and our branches.
I had ventured in to emergency lighting when people were reluctant of coming into this field. My only motto was work hard and believe in yourself because of which today here I am giving an interview to you all good people.
