On track for growth: pei tel Communications GmbH, developer and manufacturer of high-quality communication solutions and radio accessories, is further expanding its site in Teltow, near Berlin. Starting in April, the company will have more space available for several areas: development, production, and logistics. There are also plans to significantly ramp up staff this year. “We plan to build further competencies within the organization. To do that, we need more space and more employees,” says Thomas Martin, Managing Director of pei tel.
The company expects its expansion to bring numerous benefits for customers. More streamlined logistics processes and the ability to capture all items in stock electronically should help reduce delivery times, for example. The company also plans to be able to respond even faster to customer wishes and requests by handling additional production steps.
Over its 26-year history, pei tel has made a name for itself as a developer and manufacturer of communication solutions and radio accessories. Its portfolio includes vehicle charging cradles for mobile devices, professional car phones and telematics systems, and speakers and microphones used all over the world. In all, pei tel already earns about half of its sales in countries other than Germany.
After the acquisition of partner company peiker acustic GmbH & Co. KG by the French automotive supplier Valeo, pei tel is increasingly focusing on building and developing its own competencies. As a result, the communication company has a particular need for developers and designers. “Anyone who has an affinity for technology and wants to be part of a solid, steadily growing company is a perfect fit for us,” Martin says. The company is gladly accepting applications from prospective candidates.
